Who Can Apply? (Eligibility)
To apply for this recruitment, you must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university
- Or a Graduation degree in any subject. However, preference will be given to candidates who have graduated in the following subjects:
- Economics
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Science
- Commerce
- Cost Accounting
- Silk, Environment, and Food Technology
- Management
Note: If you have done B.Com, you are eligible for this post under Commerce.
Age Limit
To apply, your age should not be less than 22 years. The upper age limit varies by category. For the General category, the maximum age limit is 35 years. Age will be calculated as on 1 August, 2024.

Salary Details
Selected candidates for the post of Project Manager will get a monthly salary between ₹9,300 to ₹34,800. In addition, a grade pay of ₹4,800 will be given. This is a permanent job with a probation period of 2 years.

Selection Process
The selection process will include two stages:
- Written Exam
- Interview
Written Exam
The written exam will have four papers. All papers will be subjective, which means you’ll have to write the answers.
- Paper 1: Hindi (100 marks, 2 hours)
- Paper 2: English (100 marks, 2 hours)
- Paper 3: General Knowledge (200 marks, 2 hours)
- Paper 4: Industrial Development and Industrial Labour Law (300 marks, 2 hours)
Note: Hindi and English papers are qualifying only. Their marks will not be added to the final result. You must score at least 30% in each of these two papers.
Interview
Candidates who pass the written exam will be called for an interview. The interview will be of 100 marks. The final result will be based on the marks obtained in the written exam and the interview.
Syllabus
Here’s a brief idea of the syllabus for all four papers:
- Hindi and English: Questions will be of Class 10 level.
- General Knowledge: Topics include Jharkhand GK, Indian GK, Indian Economy, Current Affairs, Reasoning, and Environment.
- Industrial Development and Labour Law: Topics include industrial policy, setting up of industrial units, banking, problems and solutions related to industries, sick units and their revival, and industrial laws.

Reservation
