Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Requirements differ for each stream. For the Journal stream, you need:

• A master’s degree in any subject, OR
• A law degree, OR
• An engineering degree

Note: A simple bachelor’s degree in commerce won’t work. Your education qualifications must be complete by July 31, 2025.

Age Limit

As of July 31, 2025, you shouldn’t be older than 30 years. That means your birth date must be after August 1, 1995. Some relaxations apply:

• SC/ST: 5 years (up to 35 years)
• OBC: 3 years

Other Key Points

• You can apply for two streams maximum if you qualify. Separate applications are needed for each.
• For EWS category, your income certificate should be dated April 1, 2025 or later.

Exam Structure

The PFRDA Grade A exam has three stages: Phase 1, Phase 2, and Interview.

Phase 1 Details

Two papers in Phase 1:

• Paper 1: Common for all streams
